Seed Daily Synbiotic Review

Hello Everybody, firstly, thank you very much for stopping by. As a sufferer of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) it’s not always easy to find a probiotic product that I can Take. That’s one of the reasons I’m very excited to bring Seed Daily Synbiotic to your attention. This probiotic is like nothing you have seen before.

Why do I say That?

Let’s dive in and find out more :

Why Is Seed Different

Why is Seed different? Firstly they only make this one product and it’s not because they are a new company. They have been around for 2 years and 5 months at the time of writing this post. (They launched 06/06/18). They do things in a totally different way to the majority of companies that make Probiotics.

Before my product arrived, I received several emails from the Seed team. Giving me a digestible dose of science and a day-by-day game plan for starting my new probiotic. This happens for every new customer.

Daily Synbiotic

The product is a daily Synbiotic, This is a mixture of a probiotic and prebiotic. It comes in 2 versions, one for men and one for women. It is formulated by both doctors and a team of scientists, one of which is Dr. Gregor Reid, a pioneer in microbial sciences with 35 years of research, who chaired the United Nations – World Health Organization panel.

Green Glass Bottles

The Female Version

The female version of Daily Synbiotic contains 24 probiotic strains and was designed to enhance skin health and boost the production of folate in women.

The following 8 strains of bacteria are only found in the female version of Daily Synbiotic.

Below is a list of the different strains along with their specific purpose in female health.

L. crispatus SD-LCR01-IT : Helps to prevent bacterial vaginosis

L. fermentum SD-LF8-IT : Increases natural folate production

B. adolescentis SD-BA5-IT: Increases natural folate production

L. salivarius SD-LS1-IT: Improves dermatological health

B. lactis SD-CECT8145-SP: Improves dermatological health

B. longum SD-CECT7347-SP: Improves dermatological health

L. casei SD-CECT9104-SP: Improves dermatological health

L. planatarum SD-LPLDL-UK: Improves cardiovascular health

The Male Version

The male version of Daily Synbiotic has 20 probiotic strains and is specifically designed to help men reduce inflammatory processes and improve muscle recovery.

The following 4 strains of bacteria are unique to the male version of this product and target cardiovascular and digestive health issues.

  • Lactobacillus plantarum SD-LDL400-UK: Lowers LDL cholesterol
  • Lactobacillus acidophilus SD-LA2-IT: Aids digestive health and gastrointestinal immunity
  • Streptococcus thermophilus SD-FP4-IT: Aids digestive health and gastrointestinal immunity
  • Bifidobacterium longum SD-BL4-IT: Improves cardiovascular health

What Attracted Me To The Product

Daily Synbiotic Female Bottle

Apart from all the science and the doctor-formulated probiotic, was in fact the beautiful packaging, In the welcome kit you will receive 2 glass jars, the larger of the two holds one month’s supply of seed probiotics. The second is a much smaller version that holds a 7-day supply for when you are traveling.

You keep both jars and just refill them with your next month’s supply which comes in a corn foam packaging that dissolves in water. (It’s actually quite fun to dissolve it )

Bio degradeable packaging

The outer packaging is made from a biodegradable foam that is fully compostable and disappears in just 30 days. The box is made from biodegradable algae paper, this is also recyclable.

Information Booklet

Instead of putting a shortlist of instructions on how to take the product they chose instead to provide a full booklet of information explaining the product’s use, their refill guide, information on probiotics and prebiotics, and other key health benefits.

If they take this much care on the packaging, you can imagine how much care goes into the Daily Synbiotic.

Let’s look at that now :

Daily Synbiotic Supplement

Double Capsule Tablet

I was very impressed by the way Seed keeps the probiotic strains alive and active. Bacteria are sensitive to light, temperature, and moisture, meaning most hardly survive the trip from manufacturer to store shelf, let alone your digestive system.

As you can see in the above picture there is another capsule inside the outer green capsule? They have used a 2-in-1 vegan capsule system for the express purpose to protect the ingredients from the stomach acid and ensure that the probiotic makes it to your colon. (The outer capsule contains the prebiotic, and the inner capsule is probiotic.)

How clever is that?

Formulation of Daily Synbiotic

” The Daily Synbiotic combines clinically-verified, naturally-occurring probiotic strains (not found in yogurt, most supplements, or fermented foods and beverages) with a new class of patented plant-based, non-fermenting prebiotics sourced from Indian pomegranate and Scandinavian Chaga mushroom and pine bark.

It’s the first to take a Microbe-Systems Approach with strain-specific benefits beyond digestive health, including heart health, skin health, gut immune function, reproductive health, gut barrier integrity, and oxidative stress.”

Dosage

The recommended dosage is 2 capsules a day, however when you first start the product seed suggest taking just one a day to ensure your body can cope. This is what I did. I have irritable bowel syndrome and I have to be very careful which supplements I take and this worked very well for me, with no problems at all, after day 5 I started to take 2 a day. Even,  if you don’t suffer from any stomach issues it’s best to start slowly.

Take on an empty stomach in the morning or a few hours after your last meal.

The Bottle Contains a 30-day supply and costs $49.99 A Month. Which,  can be canceled at any time.

Tablet Capsule and Green Travel Bottle

My Final Thoughts

I Highly recommend taking the Daily Synbiotic. It is by far the best one I have ever taken and it helped me to improve my general health as a whole. If you’re looking for a product that combines the best probiotic strains available along with a unique prebiotic formulation Daily Synbiotic is definitely the product for you.

  1. Hi there, this is amazing information. Well, I agree with most people that think this is kinda expensive but perhaps it also worth trying. But there is one thing on my concern, I like how you said when it reduces the bloating stuff. You see, my bf is not a fan of the cold season and winter makes him bloat all the time, but he has like 100 allergic reactions. I don’t know how he survives his childhood but I met him in his 30s, so he kinda manage. Well, I saw that it is already passed the European control, but can I have more information about the component? Because he is really a special case.

    • Hi Lana ,

Thanks for the comment and the question.

My advice is to consult a doctor before taking any new supplement.

That is where the most accurate advice will come from.

  3. Thank you for this assessment of what appears to be a great product.  There are many people who (for a variety of reasons) need a probiotic product to promote regularity.  I like the fact that this company is established and I love the fact that the product is all-natural.  The packaging is handsome and the travel container is would be a blessing for anyone who travels or just to take to work.  Thank you for sharing this useful information!

  4. Hello there!, this article is really great, I love how you took time to explain what  seed daily symbiotic is. It’s great to know that seed has been existing for two years now . And the product seems great. The  fact that the product is a daily Synbiotic. Which is a mixture of a probiotic and prebiotic. It comes in 2 versions, one for men and one for women. That makes it different in it’s self. Thank you for the information in this article.

  5. That’s a really deep review! I definitely can see you did your research. Looks like seed did, too. I’ve never seen any of those probiotic or vitamin companies actually focus on differences in chemistry based on gender. That was a fascinating distinction for me. I would say, expense is nothing compared to a clean bill of good health.

    • I totally agree with you, Health is priceless. The product is not just a one size fits all. It has been made differently for the different sexes. This alone sets it far apart from most Supplement suppliers.

Many thanks for the valuable comment.

  6. This topic is very current.  Dr Stephen Gundry has brought out a few books on the subject; one is the Plant Paradox and the other is the Longevity Paradox; there is also a cook book.  They all talk about the Gut Buddies and the problem of Leaky Gut syndrome; so these Seed supplements will hopefully complement all of that.  He says if we can heal the gut it will prevent and cure many common ailments, including IBS, so might be worth a look for you.

That being said, anyone with health problems, gut related or other, would be glad to read the information on your website..

  7. Thanks for writing the Seed Daily Synbiotic review. I saw my friend bought these supplements and become curious if it’s really a good one. The double capsule concept is interesting and I can see a lot of the benefits. The price should be justified even if it’s a bit pricey. Also, thanks for mentioning a male and female version. I’ll definitely keep it in mind before buying.

  8. I didn’t have the slightest of clue this existed! Never knew women and men have individually made ones, although it does make sense as they both have different needs!

Quite interesting that they aren’t found in the usual food we consume such as yogurt’s! I also didn’t know about the different strains of bacteria, that’s quite a lot!

    Thanks for the info!

  9. For me anything that is made from natural source are good to go as i don’t like taking these medicines made from artificial means. I also appreciate the fact that this medicine comes in both male and female version which means anyone is eligible to take it. Looking at the pros and cons alone one can tell this product is tested and trusted, thank you for this

  10. Hi Lisa,

This is such a useful post. Synbiotics are a must take, especially after a certain age. I prefer to think of it as essential bacteria, and a good dose must be taken daily. The product you have reviewed is new to me. I haven’t heard of seed before, but your article sure makes me want to try it. I hope the various products available in the market are not copies. I will be ordering a bottle of fem ones, as a trial.

    Thanks so much.

  12. Hi Lisa

It is great to read about a new  probiotic that has come onto the market and it would be interesting to know how they differ from others. There are so many on the market that often it seems to be a minefield. It is still a new product and new company and so you think that they have little in the way of reputation and you wonder what extra they bring that others do not have. I have used probiotic  in the past and am willing to use it but I admit the price is a bit eye watering.

    Thanks

    • Hey Antonio,

The reviews on the internet say this is one of the best probiotics around. Basically because of the double capsule technology and the fact that it is made different specifically for men and women.

Doctor and Scientifically backed is unusual.

  14. Thanks for a comprehensive review of the Seed Daily Synbiotic! I think one of the things I would have to keep in mind prior to buying is the different versions that are available for the two sexes. Good to learn about the benefits of the double capsule technology which transfers the probiotic to the right part of the body!

With no regard to the expenses or prices involved, it’s appreciated that the probiotic company made a provision for the different sexes. So, it’s indeed better than most supplement providers out there.

  15. Hi Lisa, thanks for your article. It’s so easy to read and understand the content.

Many people have heard of probiotics, but less is known about prebiotics and this is the first time I have heard about Synbiotic.

It’s important to know what strains are in the probiotics and also the bacteria count. The information about different formulations for the female and male version and the purpose of each strain is very useful and educational for me.

I am actually impressed that you actually use this product yourself. I hope that it truly helps you with your IBS. I hope that you will be able to update this post in a few months to say that it helped you with your IBS.

What is the advise for people who are taking medications for other health related reasons? Will this product interfere with those medications? I discovered the hard way a while back that drinking green tea daily when taking aspirin and a beta blocker is not a good idea for me.

    • Hi David,

Thank you very much for the great question.

My advice Is you should always speak to your doctor, before taking a new supplement of any kind. They can sometimes react to medication you are already taking. I will update the post in a couple of months.

  21. This is the first time that I have heard of Seed Probiotic. I have never considered taking a probiotic, but am seeing more and more articles about the importance of doing so. More people seem to be taking these than ever before, so I am thinking that maybe it is our modern diets that are to blame.

It is unusual that there is a different product here for men and women. I haven’t seen that before.

    • Hi Michel,

taking a probiotic is becoming more important by the day. Yes it has a lot to do with the food we eat and they way it is grown. This is the only company i’m aware of that does a different version for men and women. That’s one of the ways that makes it unique.
